When you travel a lot, you learn to become more minimalistic. You don’t want the things you carry to burden you, and the less you can get away with, the better. With a light wool shirt (or pants or underpants or socks), you’ll rarely have to wash it, meaning you only have to bring one. Wool doesn’t smell, dries quickly, regulates body temperature, and doesn’t wrinkle.

Smartphone

With all technology has enabled for us, it’s be silly not to bring your smartphone with you on a trip. You can use it to book tickets, read books, take pictures, navigate, Skype, and more, combining many uses into one small pocket-friendly device. However, be smart to keep it on airplane mode so you can fully immerse in your adventures and not get caught up reading emails or surfing social media.

Razor

Just because you’re off the grid doesn’t mean you have to live like a caveman. Stay well-groomed with a razor that will be worth packing.
